Flirting with the Enemy!

I am currently reading a super interesting book - 'Enemy at the Gate' by Joe Crews. In this book, the author examines the dangers of Christians drawing near to worldly attractions and explains where and how to draw the line and close the gates of your mind to everything that would lead you away from Christ. It's a typical present-truth book that I believe is a MUST READ for anyone eagerly awaiting the second advent of Christ. By that I mean YOU and me!

I decided to start a series were I will be sharing key lessons from each chapter every Thursday for the next nine weeks (a chapter per week). The aim is to encourage each other spiritually as we journey heavenward - Amen!

Chapter 1: Flirting with the Enemy

✨Something is wrong when saints and sinners enjoy the same brand of entertainment and laugh at the same jokes.
✨ Spots of worldliness here and there cannot be part of true religion. A clean separation is required.
✨ The great controversy between Christ and Satan is not being fought on some far away galactic battlefield millions of light-years from planet earth, it is taking place this very moment in the arena of your heart and mind.

Moral of the Chapter: We must not put ourselves on the enemy’s ground. We are only here as probationers. We must not act as though there were no tempting devil. There are temptations that come to us, and we cannot accept them and give them a place in the mind unless we peril our souls. We want to know that our feet are in safe paths. If you don't want the fruit of sin, then don't go to the devil's orchard!

Next on this Series... Chapter 2 - Reaching the Mind!

P.S - the book is available on Amazon, you can also download the PDF version from Google or you can click HERE to email me so I can send you the PDF version of the book.

  1. So true! We, as Christians, need to wake up! Too many people have been desensitized little by little. ...What fellowship has light with darkness? ...come out from among them, and be ye separate...2 Cor.6:14-17
    God bless.

  2. Sounds like a good book. lIt is true...so many say by their mouth they are changed...but nothing about their lifestyle is different. Trash in Trash out. A Holy God demands more. Cathy
